Resumen: "Here we present our preliminary results in the aim to solve the evolutionary relationships within Ctenosaura using a set of approximately 5,000 ultra-conserved elements (UCEs) and their variable flanking regions. UCEs are short orthologous regions of DNA highly conserved among taxa that serve as an anchor to capture the genetic variation of their adjacent regions. They are easy to align among divergent genomes"
